My education has helped me to cultivate a practice that incorporates bio-western medicine, eastern philosophy, and intuitive healing.  

Together these teachings give me the ability to see my clients from all angles and help me to treat them with compassion and skill.

Boston

2007: BS in Health Studies from Boston University (Boston, MA).  This curriculum has a strong focus on anatomy and rehabilitative medicine.

2008: 850 Hours Massage Therapy Certification from Palmer Institute of Massage and Bodywork (Salem, MA).  Coursework included Shiatsu, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports/Myofascial massage.

2010: 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training at Prana Power Yoga (Cambridge, MA).  Think heated, power, vinyasa classes.      

2010: Reiki 1 & 2 with the Arlington Reiki Associates (Arlington, MA).

2010: Lotus Palm Level 2 Thai Massage Training with Russell Afflerbach (Newton, MA).

India

2011: 200 Hours Yoga Teacher/Yoga Therapy Training at Yoga Vidya Gurukel (Nasik, India).  

This immersive 28 day training in yoga therapy was a residential training took place on an ashram, a traditional yoga living center.  There, I deepened my experience of Hatha yoga incorporating the ancient techniques of breath, mantra, meditation, and cleansing techniques to improve well being for those with common health conditions.  After the program I also had the opportunity to be an intern at the associated yoga therapy center for 10 days.

Thailand

2011: 60 Hours Thai Acupressure Massage at the Harmony House with Jet Li (Khanom Beach, Thailand).

This independent residential course has me practicing Thai Massage and meditation several hours a day.  As it was only my teacher and I, I had the great opportunity to work with many local Thai residents who helped me learn to intuit points and energy lines on various body types.  It also taught me how to communicate with my hands, trust my skills, and receive non verbal feedback.

Kripalu

2013-2017: Kripalu is one of the largest yoga retreat centers in North America located in Stockbridge, MA.  Here I worked as a massage therapist and taught classes for Thai massage.  As a benefit I was able to take several courses for continuing education.
